I am Melina Heggenberger —  Communication Designer and Art Director based in Stuttgart & Überlingen, Germany. I work at the intersection of art direction, branding, and photography, translating ideas, brands, and spaces into atmospheric visual languages. Every project has its own story — shaped by context, rhythm, and detail.

Everything is a form of layout — a visual architecture. Whether developing an identity or a photograph, I approach it as the composition of elements that create structure, balance, and atmosphere. I focus on the rhythm between space, light, and typography to build environments where ideas unfold naturally and every detail finds its place.

Grown up surrounded by art, nature, and the textures of everyday life, this environment shaped my love for design, material, and atmosphere. After studying Communication Design (Dipl.), I began translating these influences into a thoughtful and intuitive design practice.
