Surface"Surfaces of Things and Objects" is a carefully crafted independent project, where both textual and visual content have been meticulously captured, curated, and designed in-house with the highest level of expertise. The result is a premium, 111-page hardcover book, featuring a refined surface finish that enhances its overall aesthetic.
The book is structured to provide a dynamic reading experience, balancing photography and text in a thoughtfully organized layout. Interview pages are uniquely presented on black backgrounds, with striking white typography that creates a bold contrast. These pages stand out, offering an engaging visual rhythm that enhances the storytelling.
In contrast, the photography pages are consistently laid out with a uniform design, allowing the images to speak for themselves without distraction. The design ensures that the visual content is given the space it needs to captivate the viewer. Additionally, the book integrates marginal columns, footnotes, and carefully organized text blocks to provide depth and context. Quotes are presented in separate levels, distinguishing them from the main narrative, and further enriching the overall content.
This thoughtful combination of structured design elements and dynamic layouts creates a visually cohesive yet varied experience, making "Surfaces of Things and Objects" not just a book, but an artful exploration of its subject matter.
